Hi:

I have a MIM Fender Jazz Deluxe Active with noiseless pickups. I would like to upgrade the pups. Will the SCN Samarium Colbalt Noiseless Jazz pickups that come standard equip on the MIA Deluxe fit my MIM Jazz Deluxe? Thanks in advance.

I believe they will but for that price you could get some Dimarzio ultra J's or Model J's that would sound much much better.

for the cost of scn's which is around 160. just go nordstrands or other high end pickups. i dont really put a whole lot of stock in any fender pickups. they're really not top notch as some other brands out there. Dimarzio's are fantastic, emgs are really nice, and delanos/nordstrands are great. Seymour duncan quarter pounders are great budget pickups, and dont experience problems with pole pieces getting touched or too close to the strings.

DELANO!!! Yes indeedee!!! Delano for you! They're great. Super clean. Very transparent. Extremely well balanced. They do what your fingers tell'em to. They're my top pick.
If pole pieces are a problem, there are the models that don't expose the pole pieces.

alnico

Make sure the magnets are alnico. Stay away form any SCM pickup, even the fender noiseless. They suck.
