The "Activeness" of the Honer preamp was never very inspiring. It seems as if it was just there to give a 2db boost to the overall output. Everything else is passive. - 2 vol pots and an overall tone. The most dramatic thing is the red LED. Still, I bought it in 1987. Things must have moved on.
What could I fit into in now? |

Note the orange cap on the tone pot, and also the XLR output socket. There is also an on/off toggle switch. |

If it's not deep enough for stacked pots then you have to get creative. For example you could use the Aggie or Delano but only wire up three pots and a switch: for treble, bass, passive blend, and mute. |

The maddening thing is, I bought a cheap semi last year with 9V active, Graphic EQ AND a tuner on board. The Hohner doesn't have enough space, otherwise .......... | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
