Like I said I'm new to this whole wiring thing, so bear with me. How would the standard j harness they sell be with some seymour ducan qps? The wiring diagram on the duncan site seems different from the standard j bass wiring.

I believe you can wire them the same way as the factory wiring. I had some SD P pickups and was able to wire them both ways. Didn't seem to make any difference in sound.

thanks, I myself just realized that the only difference (I see) is how they're grounded.
