What stack knobs/caps would you use?

I'm entertaining the idea of getting another P bass and having a J pup added. To keep the controls the same I'de like to use a stack tone/volume for each pup. Going to run passive. Likely use Fralins.
Which stack knobs would you recomend? What value ect? The bass is going to be used in old school hard rock. Played through Ampeg SVT II. Tone knob will be utilized not just turned up and left....incase that changes your choice.

Also what caps would you guys use. I have one "real deal" orange drop left.

Having two tone controls really isn't going to be very useful, as they will interact when the volumes are on full.

I would go with 500Ks and experiment with different pot values.

500k is the pot value is it not? I'm not following what your saying about two tones interacting? I wanted them wired independantly for adjustment on either pup so I could roll off tone on one without effecting the other one.

Yes, 500K Ohms would be the pot value.

The problem with having two tone controls in a passive circuit is that when the volumes are both up, the tones run directly parallel with 0 Ohms resistance between them. This means that rolling either tone control down will apply a low pass filter to both pickups.

The only way to avoid this (Unless you want to actively buffer the two pickup circuits.) would be to place resistors in series with the signal paths from each pickup/volume/tone to the output, but this costs you some output/treble.
