i want to replace this pickup, but i can't find anything that is direct replacement. what the heck will fit in here? i'm tempted to go with an mm style pickup, but i'd rather not have to do all the work for it.

the add says it's a humbucker... i'm going to go with that... (two single coils facing eachother to eliminate hum and get a very strong signal..)

It looks to be the same shape as the pickup used on Rockbass streamers, Bartolini make a replacement humbucker. It's the W4CBC shape - http://www.bartolini.net/information...bass_pu_s4.htm

If you're not into the whole Bart thing, you could probably get a custom pickup done with the same covers (I'd recommend Kent Armstrong personally, but whatever).

Hope this helped

Maybe a G&L pickup would fit in that.
