What is the truth about the pickup sizes in a late 1990s MiM Fender Jazz Bass?

I have heard that the late 90s era Fender Jazz Basses (Mexican made only) have two bridge pickups as far as dimensions and routings are concerned. Can anyone confirm the facts here?

Thanks very much.

I had a '99 - '00 MIM that had two neck pickups. They were the same length and had the same magnetic orientation. (Put a compass next to each pickup, you want to have a N and a S)

I always had issues with hum canceling with both pups up full. You can't upgrade the pups without cutting some wood or buying two neck pups again.

Yep, they made MIM Standard Jazz with two of the same PUPs.
