What type Active Bartolini PUPS to install on an MTD Z4??

I was wondering about upgrading the active pups on my MTD Z4 ...another TB'er put a set of dual coil P2- Bartolini's on thier MTD Z5...would that work on a Z4.... does any one know??? Do I kneed change the onboard preamp as well?? Any other pup suggestions on an MTD Z4?? Thanks...DAcat

I just put a Bartolini 3 band pre in my Z4 - much cleaner, much more bottom end with the stock pups - I am considering Nordstrand fat stacks or Bartolini BC4CB's. The preamp upgrade dramatically improved the clarity of the sound. Hope that helps some.
