| What value capacitor to ground?

So I'm playing a Gibson SG Bass and I've always been unhappy with the amount of high frequency content on the mudbucker. There's too much. What I'd like to do is place a capacitor to ground off from it to eliminate the clack. Can anyone tell me what value capacitor I should use to suck everything from between 3 and 5 kilohertz on up off that pickup?
The pickup I'm using is a Dimarzio Model One in the neck position.
There isn't any clack coming from the bridge pickup, that one is fine.
I realize this will probably require a quite small value capacitor. Can anyone help me out before I just buy a bunch of caps and try them out? |
