Hey, some time ago i bought a used eagle bass for a low cost.

The previous owner had been mixing with the wires for som reason and now i need som help to put the wires in the right places.

Okay, I got it working but the volume is reduced.

The pot only reacts the last halv i can turn it.

could the pot be broken or something?

I suppose you mean a Nordstrand dual coil pup?...it is a DC. Check Nordstrand website:
http://x.nordstrandpickups.com/viewtopic.php?t=276

That pup is wired wrong, or useless. Right now it's connected as a single coil.

1st coil:
Black = +
White = -

2nd coil:
Red = +
Green = -

For Parallel:
black and red = +
White and Green to ground

For Serie:

black +
red and White soldered together and isolated
Green to ground

Shielding (bare wire) to ground

M

Either way, MM or DC both are dualcoil and they have the same color scheme.
Not knowing what is the pre, I can't help with the wiring. Sorry.
Try and you'll see.
