What would be the absalute best preamp to upgrade my Peavey Rudy Sarzo bass ?

I really like the stock passive ceramic pickups. I heard bartolini designed them.

I like a P Funk sound. Anyone else changed out the pre in this bass ?

I have the Audere in a unity bass.
Would like to try something different.

Those are 1 off custom preamps designed by Alan @ ACG and John @ J-Retro and built by John soley for ACG.

You wont go wrong buying one of those

I'll try this instead. I need 5 knobs
