I've been using Bartolini pickup for over twenty years, I've never been anything but happy with them.

I voted Duncan. I ordered them in my Clement custom and they were OEM in my Schecter Model T- LOVE em!

I play classic and modern rock and they just fit the bill.

APC Custom PUP's. Rough Crystals from Germany. Benavente's. Or coarse Nordy's and Duncan's for the Domestic use. LOL

Personally, I like emg pick-ups. my schecter stiletto elite 5-string bass has a set of emg 40-hz pick-ups. I honestly think they sound pretty cool.

Duncan Antiquities are sooooo sweet! I'm sure there are others too but I don't feel the need to find out.

Like Barts, EMG's, Nordies, and Lane Poors BUT my all time faves are Aeros. I played a Fodera with them installed and I swear, that bass was the sex. I didn't have to dig in to get the tone I wanted like I do with some others I own. Those pups responded nicely. I'd have them in all my basses if I could afford them.

Bulldogs. Cutest pups ever.

Seriously, EMG. They do what I want them to.

I like Fender Pickups. I'm also a fan of the Jazz pickups that are in my Lakland Skyline DJ4. I'm not sure what they are; if my serial number is any indication, the DJ4 is from 2003.
