What are your thoughts on these two pickups.

Yesterday I ordered a 40 P5X, 40 DCX and a BQC System. Before It gets here Id like to nail down a little issue.

In the wiring diagram on the EMG website it shows 2 ways of wiring the pickups and control together.
1 has it wired (pickup, blend, tone, volume, jack)
2 has it (pickup, blend, volume, tone, jack)

is there a real difference between the two in end result?

And lastly, Im sure that I will experiment on my own but what do you think the results will be from the 40p5x in the neck, or bridge with the DCX switched accordingly? Two total different results or not?

I went #1 with wiring mine. Couldn't tell you about the pickups themselves, but that's how I wire my BQC's.

1 out of 88 isn't bad I guess. Thank you JimmyM.
