I'm on the urge of buying a Highway1 precision in baby blue...
The guy who's selling it got it from a trade and the first owner put in a preamp...
the current owner doesn't have a clue what type preamp it is...
some help?

I would not have a clue...does the circuit board have any words etched on it?

from the looks of the preamp it looks to be a fairly straightforward dual transistor circuit (one for a gain stage, and one for a simple tone stack, I'm assuming).

how does it sound? I'll bet it sounds nice.
