I have one in a P bass and it sounds fantastic.

I was lucky enough to grab this bass off ebay a few years ago. It's a Coronado IV with the original Hagstrom pickups. Guild also used them early on in their very desirable M-85 basses. These pickups sound huge.

Through the transitive nightfall of diamonds?
Anyway, many people swear by them as a vintage replacement pickup.

This is my new favorite bass, largely because of the Darkstars. |
