I saw this cover band down on Bourbon Street a month ago. The bassist had the finest bass tone I had ever heard, and he was rocking a jazz bass. It was so fat I assumed it was the neck position. I really regret not asking the guy what he had loaded in that thing. It was a Fender bass, but it was a modded dog that had probably seen a couple hundred gigs or more.
What I'm really looking for is fat and chewy. |
