Where can I find a non-standard ALPS pot?!

Sign in to disble this ad
Before you say mouser.com, I checked and I don't think they carry it.

This is what I need, but with 3B taper resistance instead of 1B.

ALPS website

After some snooping, I found this link on the ALPS website which says they can make them for you, but I can't exactly call Japan, nor do I need 2000 of them (min order) to replace the one broken pot in my SP-303 sampler.

Other Varieties

so the part number for the same item with a taper resistance of 1B is RK09K1130ACL. I'm pretty sure this is the item on the mouser page.

Any thoughts?

I am in Boston. Thanks.

3B is what Alps calls audio taper, which is normally A.

So what you want is an audio taper pot of the same size and value.

If you had to use linear taper, it wouldn't be a big deal.
