Question Where can I get replacement mounting screws for EMG pickups?

I tried calling EMG and they told me a #6 wood screw would work, but I got some, and they were too big. Anybody know what kinds of screw would work with an EMG 40J humbucker?

That looks right, but I'm not paying $5 to ship 4 screws. They can fit that in a regular envelope. I'll have to look elsewhere.

I'm not sure what you were expecting if you were looking for screws online? Everyone is going to make you pay for shipping.

Shoot Brian an email.
He's a very nice guy and is always helpful when you ask him a question.

There is a chance that perhaps he would be willing to just mail them to you since it's just a pack of screws.

ask your local repair shop if they'll sell you some. I've done it a bunch of times and they don't seem to mind. the worst that can happen is they say no.

They sell #4's at Menards, in little bags of 8 or 10, for under a buck. Ya just gotta look....

+1. #4's are hard to find in the right length. For my EMG's, I ended up using #6's and just drilled out the pickup to fit. Most hardware store don't stock the #4's.
