White MM stingray pickup

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a newer MM Stingray trans teal 4 string bass guitar with a clear pickguard, and I would like to change the black pickup cover in a white pickup cover to get a more vintage look.
Where can I find a replacement white pickup cover. Where can I buy?
Thanks ...

I think EB is actually selling these now. Contact EBMM customer service and see what they say.

Hmm. The only other producer of white MM pickups (aside from Ernie Ball themselves) I've been able to find is Schaller - and I think they deliver to our place (Croatia, the sunshine state ). Now, I'm not sure if they'll sell a white pickup cover alone, but you could e-mail them and see if they do. Please let me know in this thread- I have a need for a few unusual covers as well so we could team up and buy in bulk.

Have you considered airbrushing it with white paint? I think that if you cover the pole-pieces and underside with sticky paper tape (the yellow one) you can probably paint the pickup yourself at home, without much risk.

Not good, I saw the pictures on the internet from some who did, and I do not like to experiment, at the end is not good when you're going to sell this guitar one day...
