White pickup covers for SPB-3 do they exist?

I'm looking to find some Pickup covers, particularly WHITE, to replace the black covers that come with the SD QP pickups.

My bass is white, and the pickguard black, so I think it would look sweet to have white pickup covers.

Anyone know a company that makes them with 1/4" holes?

I dont think they make them with 1/4 inch holes why dont you get some white ones that are for normal holes and drill them out. Or just use them without drilling the holes out the sound wont change. You have a squire vm p bass huh. I just got one and was amazed at how good it is. If you havent bought your pickups yet get the di marzo pickups they ones with the blade poles on them. They come with a white cover.

Take your existing black covers off. Sand them with 220 grit sandpaper to give paint something to stick to. Wash them down with alcohol, such as shellac thinner to remove any grease or wax. Spray them white with light passes from a spray can of Krylon paint. Get the Krylon Interior-Exterior paint that says "no runs, no drips" at the top of the can and also says "dries in 12 minutes or less" It comes in flat or gloss. Personally, I'd use flat. It's available in most paint stores.

The Krylon is good stuff. I used some to paint some metal furnace register grills. With careful work you can get a flawless surface.

Do you pick over the pickups though? Spraypaint might not be such a good idea. When I play with a pick I always play right over the pickups. The pickups covers on both my p bass and j bass are both pretty scrached up

+1

You can get `em here for $5/pop in white or cream.

Just go easy with the drill .

Vanity can be very stressing. I have a black jazz bass with rosewood fretboard and black pickguard, and i want to put some cream covers on it, ordered from warmoth i believe, and they dont fit over my 60's custom shop PU's. I realized finding ones for non stock pickups aint easy. Getting the poles to line up can be a lil stressful, so I gave up. Although i bet it would look good with some cream covers. Oh the joys of modding fender basses and parts lol.
