Exclamation Whitenoise... strange, help please...

I've installed an Aguilar OBP3 into one of my basses, and there's something wrong with my earth connections...

I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction to fix this problem.

Here are the symptoms... if IM not touching anything, and with the trebble full, you can hear whitenoise... now, here's the thing, if I touch any of the metal preamp knobs, it goes away completely... if I touch any of the other metal parts on the bass, it gets worse than not touching it...

so... I figure that I wired the preamp ok, but maybe something went wrong as far as connecting the other pots (2 vols) and the bridge wire?

anyone know what's going on?

Thanks in advance.
