Who can make me this jazz bass harness??

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm looking for someone to make me a custom harness for a Fralin loaded Lakland JO5.

The layout would be:

Master Volume(w/ push-pull for series-parallel)
Blend(with center detent)
Tone

Seems simple enough, but I'm having a hard time getting someone to make this for me.

I thought Rothstein would do it, but the last communication I had from him was very vague as to when or if he would be able to do it.

Anyone have a suggestion?? Any TB'ers want to put it together for me?? I have the money burnin' a hole in my pocket and can't seem to find the person to do it.

Thanks

This isn't what you're looking for, but rawsound2003 has many variations on their control plate assemblies.

Yeah, I checked out there stuff. This one is pretty close, minus the Varitone thing: http://cgi.ebay.com/JAZZ-BASS-VARITO...item414e2e5d9c

I should see if they will do my idea. It seems like there thing is pretty based around the Varitone, which has no appeal to me.

No clue, but I wouldn't recommend that setup personally.

With the series/parallel switch and blend pot, you would need to set the blend to solo the neck pickup in series mode to avoid losing output.

You would want to use a 3PDT mini toggle switch to bypass the blend in series mode, but that means no push/pull pot.
