Hi guys,

2 questions.
Besides Sadowsky, who else makes P-J pickups for 5 stringers?

Where can I purchase Sadowsky pickups besides from them directly?

Eugene
Singapore.

When I was looking for pick-ups a few weeks ago,

http://www.seymourduncan.com

had 5-string J and 5-string P pickups, and I'm sure they gave advice on how to pair a P with a J.

I can't help you with the Sadowsky - but if they exist, I would expect Google to find them.

Thanks for the prompt reply guys.

The problem I face is all the local pickup distributors carry popular(easy to sell) stock and the only 5 string pickups they carry Jazz (which are very rare too), except for the Nordstrand distributor who orders directly from Carey himself.

I was about to place my order for the P-J 5 Nordies when I suddenly remembered that I've always wanted to try Sadowsky pickups and I already have Nordies in one Warmoth bass and Seymore Duncans in another so why not.

Upon asking, the local Sadowsky distributor just told me to order directly from their website. Not nice.
Problem here is I can't access the Sadowsky site and haven't been able to in the past year or so, think it's something to do with their server cos I've tried to do so on computer's all over my little country.

Yeah I'd really like to try Sadowsky pickups but would need to find a website that does international. Can't seem to find any.

I wouldn't mind to try other pickups too but the Delano poles on the P really puts me off.

Anybody?

Delano makes other P pickups without the MM style pole peices. The PC5 HE has solid covers.

Does Carey still make them for the market? Cos I couldn't find it on his website.

We still make that pickup. Nino has used them more than almost anyone else yet.

Our website is lacking in several areas and we're working to get it updated and fleshed out. Hopefully, by the winter NAMM show it'll be fully up to date.

Wow... voice from the boss..
Alright I place an order for it from my local dealer..
It's always nice to have a personal touch to customer service.
Thanks Carey.
