who sells good pickup screws???

that won't strip out the first turn. also i have a mexican jazz deluxe, and i need a battery cover for it. does anyone sell these or am i gonna have to make it?

...and if any kind soul has a source of M2.5x30 black pan head phillips screws I'd love to hear from them.

Rare as hens teeth over here, and the local distributor wants AUD$6.40 a piece!!!!!

This place seems to have a pretty good selection (including original Fender parts). Can't vouch for the quality though, as I've never prdered from them .

My experience with most of those little trim-type screws is that they aren't made of very hard metal. A good, well fitting screwdriver goes a long way toward keeping the screws intact. Are you relieving the holes enough and soaping the screw threads on new installs? I learned all this the usual hard way. The best is when the screwdriver slips out and puts a nice gouge in the finish, truly a happy time!
