Wilde Bill Lawrence thread / club of sorts
There's a few of us who dig these pickups, maybe this might help share the info we have on them.
I myself think these are great sounding pickups (and cheap!!!), and also as far as my experience dealing with Wilde, they are very serious to deal with.
One thing to note though is I believe that while they have good communication, they might not be so good answering emails. I personally believe that being email a relatively new means of communication, and being Wilde a family business, this is quite understandable. They do give their phones if you need them.
And while I've seen some complaints mostly of people not being informed when their pickups would arrive, I have not heard not even one complaint about the product itself or somebody not receiving their order.
Review of the p-46 thread:
I believe most the info is in that thread.
there's quite a few other threads but they might not be so easy to find, add them if you think they might be helpful.
And if you have a Wilde pickup on any of your instruments, please, PLEEEASEEEE post soundclips!!!!!! :bassist::bassist:

My Warmoth P-JJ with P-46 and Fender Am. Dlx. P Bass V bridge pickup.....
Here's some videos of me that might give you an idea of how this pickup sounds live using a fairly clean tone. My bass is a 2008 American Standard P-bass.
with Rotosound swing bass 66 strings(ss roundwound). Playing through my Fender 300 pro head and 2x15 cab + PA. Audio is from the camera and one room mic
with old Chromes(flatwound). Audio is from camera and it most likely just picking up my direct signal through the PA. https://www.youtube.com/watch?featur...&v=GrFkK4f2doc
Studio recording with the Chromes on(and played with pick): http://acadianembassy.bandcamp.com/t...unter-the-yard
My band just finished our record and I'll post it here when it's online. All 7 songs recorded with P-bass\chromes into an old tube pre-amp. Sounds pretty great!
there was a similar thread got started simultaneously, so maybe it would be better to close this one and go directly to the "official thread":
Does anyone know how to wire a set of J45's? I have a blue-white and black wire and no diagram.
Here's some wiring info from the wilde website (scroll down a bit): http://wildepickups.com/Wiring___Tech_Info.html
Thanks, I found it. Blue and black are ground wires. Just received my pickups yesterday and the news Bill passed. What a sad day
