Wizard Pickups (UK)

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi guys,

Been a wee while! Looking at J pickups for an old MIJ Jazz bass. Been swinging back and forth between Nordstrand (single coils) and the Fender CS 60's. Stumbled across a place in the UK that does vintage-styled jazz pickups ('Sixty-Fours'), and they are significantly cheaper than the Nordies or Fender CS's would be.

I did do a search, but there wasn't a huge deal of information on these pickups. Just wondering if anyone more recently has tried/heard them?

Cheers

- Will

I have indeed... I put the hotter-than-normal 84's in a 73 'J and they were punchy, warm and fat.

Andy used to be, to all intents and purposes, Kent Armstrong's UK operation - the experience shows.

Drop by http://www.basschat.co.uk - lots of users on there.
