Would changing OBP make sense with Warwick Corvette FNA Jazzman?
Bass: 5-string Warwick corvette FNA Jazzman
Pickups: Stock MEC's & Basslines OBP
Strings: Warwick Black Label custom set 175-105-85-65-45
I have managed to get pretty good sound out of my stack even when playing low G, but I've started to think could changing Onboard Preamp take me that extra mile with low end response on my endless quest for ultimate sound?
Any experiences you could share about this?

How old is your Jazzman and how long have you had it? I thought of changing the preamp when I bought my 1994 Fortress 4 years ago. Instead I just had it cleaned professionally. That was cheap and really improved the sound. He also had me raise the PU under the low B and lower it under the G (neck PU) but didn't do anything to the bridge PU. I didn't put on new strings but it still was brighter and the lows seemed puncher. It was worth the $75.
