Yamaha RBX1000 pickups - active or passive?

I'm replacing the factory pickups on my RBX1000 (active) with Bill Lawrence P46 and J45.

I have a Yamaha RBX250F (passive) with a P pickup. I'm wondering if I can put the P pup from the 1000 into the 250 and get a benefit?

RBX1000 is about a '94 model. Pups have the gold 'Yamaha' lettering. They are deeper than the pups in the 250.

What do you think? I can always try the swap, but thought somebody would know.

Just found a schematic.

Pups are passive.

I'll put them in my RBX250F and see what I get.
