Acoustic Image in Australia

Aussie double bass players may be interested to know that Acoustic Image amplifiers are now available in Australia. They are being imported by Green Square Music (who also import Alembic and Acme). They are available directly from Green Square Music (www.greensquare.net) or Sydney based players can check them out in the flesh at The Bass Shop, 133 Cabarita Road, Cabarita (02 9736 1981).

No - there is a lifter which tilts the combo units back. The woofer is designed to reflect off the floor. Putting the woofer in the bottom allows the cab to be much smaller.
