AER Domino 2 vs Acoustic Image vs Schertler amps
I am looking for advice, and am in the mode of researching to buy an upright/eletric bass amp. I double and currently own a markbass cmd210P, it has been a hassle in getting the right sound for my electric and upright together using the same amp. I love the sound with my eletric with the markbass, but the sound with my upright is too colored by the markbass amp. I have heard and read good reviews on the AER Domino 2(1799.00), Schertler Unico Deluxe(1999.00) and of course Acoustic Image(1499.00) amps. The prices for each are failry close together. I'm using a Realist Naturilst, and a AMT SP25B with super preamp or a DYN-B with preamp. I prefer to use one amp for both, and wanted your opinions of the three amps I have mentioned here. Thank you in advance for consideration and time.
I would go with Acoustic Image. They have a great reputation and make really good specialist double bass amps. I'm not a fan of the Schertler amps and although AER do make great amps I think they are very expensive and perhaps have less experience in the bass market. However I expect AER would be good.
I guess if you like the Dyn B then sticking with the Schertler may be a good option, but I'm personally not a fan. I know there are players out there who love them though.
Good luck with your search.

...and AI's customer service can't be beat, should you ever need it.
The sound out of an AI amp is closer to what goes into it than anything I've tried. If you like the sound of your basses I'd highly recommend Acoustic Image. Not a big fan of the down firing woofer but lots of folks like the combos. Yes, Rick's service is amazing!
One more vote for Acoustic Image. Those guys are among the best bass amps companies out there and they are great guys. They definitely get my vote!
The AER Domino looks like a guitar / voice combo. The wattage seems to 60W per channel. It does not seem to offer a D.I. output...
The Schertler Unico also seems to be a guitar+voice amp. It offers more wattage but seems to be 42lbs in weight. Schertler seems to offer a bass amp called "Lafaro".
Of the three on that list, for electric bass, and upright bass, the AI 2 channel Coda seems to be a clear winner.
Try them each out in a store near you to get the real goods that the websites can't explain.
Choices to Make
You should test drive the new Acoustic Image Flex system, as Rick Jones and the team have redesigned the Pre Amp and added Low and High Midrange controls. When I was considering possibly purchasing the Schertler DYN-B Rick Jones (Acoustic Image) mentioned that he thought you were better off using the Schertler Pre Amp into the AI.
