ampeg B100R

does anyone use the ampeg B100R with an upright bass?? cause i use one at my school and im having some problems with it... i cant get the bass loud enough... im not sure if its the amp or the pickup on the bass..

so if anyone has ever used this amp wiht an upright...how was it?? did u have any problems??

Not an ideal amp for upright. Should be loud though. Do you have a buffer preamp in after your pickup? Most upright pickups aren't designed to go straight into electric bass amps. Check out the "newbie links" section, particularly the stuff on preamps. You probably need one.

Let us know what kind of pickup, too -- that might help. Even a description.

we have a full circle upright bass pickup like this one

i dont have a buffer preamp after my pickup...hope that helps
