Question Anchor Amps

Has anyine used these little amps for upright? Isee they come in 30 watts and 50 watts at $150 and $350.

They look very portable and handy.

Where are you seeing these? I googled 'anchor bass amp' & got Mesa/Boogie info.

I believe they would add volume without carting a humgo amp. It's enough we have to wrestle the bass.

I'm not convinced with just a single small speaker, especially since it's basically a tiny PA made for speaking into a microphone and not musical instruments. Why not get one and experiment for us?

101 dB SPL at 30 Watts and 1 meter corresponds to 86 dB at 1 Watt. That would be a very low sensitivity rating compared to typical musical instrument speakers.
