best pre-amp for cutting feedback

What are the best products for me to consider?
I'm looking at tone shaping capability, but I primarily need a device with a phase shifter and the ability to easily dial out feedback.

Someone recommended a "L.R. PARA Acoustic DI".
The "Fishman Pro-eq Platinum Bass" also looks appealing.
Good advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
JC

The discontinued fishman dual para DI does this well and can be found used.

Eric,
I haven't seen one used for quite a while. It's definitely on my to get list.

You might consider the Headway EDB-1. Costs more than the Fishman or the Baggs, but several have come up in the TB classifieds recently for as little as $200.00. It has a five band EQ, Phase Reverse, Three Position input impedance switch, Three position High Pass filter, and a variable Notch Filter.

The Radial PZ-Pre would fit your bill; I use one with good success. Looks like the PZ-Deluxe might work too, but I've never tried one.

IME & IMO - My fishman plat pro EQ never really helped taming feedback, plus I don't like the sound I get out of it. I use it only for the slab nowadays...
EDB1 FTW!!!
