| What price range are you in? A separate cab and head is usually better, but there are some excellent combos out there. Is weight an issue? Will she be playing electric as well as upright? Let us know. Be prepared for a plethera of opinions on what the best amp is, it is very subjective. What is best for one player may not work for another. Whatever you decide, I would take her and the bass with you if possible. The type of pick up, bass, strings, and technic all affect how the bass will sound when amplified. |
