I was wondering what is available as a blender for pickup and mic? I've noticed that the Fishman Blender has been discontinued. Is the solstice the only/best thing out there?
LR Baggs MixPro is a great unit for the money. You can find them on eBay amongst other places. Also why not consider a small mixer like a Behringer UB-choose your model (if you can stand to buy Behringer)? borrowed a friend's UB-802 for a time and also owned a MixPro, and Solstice each for a while. I tried mixing the Dyn-B and AMT with all three. IMO as is often the case, you get what you pay for. The Solstice has the best sound and the best feature set. The MixPro is second best. The UB-802 was pretty harsh and of course it's a more generic piece of equipment.
