Red face Can You Repair a Realist?

Hello,
I have a David Gauge Realist Transducer. Unfortunately the sealed 1/4"
female jack has an intermittent short that occurs when I play notes on the
A and E strings. At first, I thought it was a speaker problem, but
after testing it out on several amps the problem is happening insied the jack.
I'll write David Gauge and see if there is a way to repair it,but
if anyone has had this problem let me know.

A couple of years ago I had the same problem and phoned Gage`s shop. They told me to send it in, and replaced it for , i think, $25.00 .

You can try cutting the cable and soldering a new jack. I've done that on various occasions.
