Chris Wood's Rig

I was checking out this video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hz3tO...eature=related

It looks like Chris Wood is using an SVT and a gallien krueger 800rb. I was wondering if anybody knew if he was using the 800rb or the SVT with the upright, or neither and just going into the board.

My guess...

..is that the Hartke and GK are for upright and the SVT and ? are for electric.
But WHAT is that bass he's playing? Nice tone too!

That's a Czech-Ease Acoustic Road Bass, developed by David Gage.

When I saw him about a year ago he was playing the Czech-Ease through the SVT. Sounded fab of course.

He seems to have bolts going through the front of the bass( at least 2 that I could see) between the bridge and the neck down the centre seam of the two halves of the front, underneath the fingerboard? Anyone know what these are? I am guessing it could be a pickup?, or he has had a solid piece of wood added underneath( like a semiacoustic guitar design) with bolts to keep it on?
He seemed to get a very even and focused sound, more so than the usual czech ease sound. He was obviously playing at loud volumes, judging by the amp setup, and if anything, his precision bass guitar sounded slightly quieter than his acoustic.
