combo amp for both BG and DB $350-400 range

I have been playing upright bass for about 10 years. Mostly in church orchestra. I have been asked to play bass guitar in the contemporary service. I bought a BG and am now looking for a small practice amp that will serve both my double bass and my BG. Budget= 350-400$ Any suggestions?

Howdy. I am just a stones throw away from you in Apex.

For that price range, I think bribass likes Yorkville / Traynor combo amps. I think they mostly have 10" and 15" drivers.

Or maybe a used GK or SWR ... The GK's use 12's, and I think the SWR 10's and 12's work well for some folks for doubling.

P.S. I have a Lakland Bob Glaub. Used it at a church rehearsal just last night in fact. If you have one of their hollowbodies, I would like to meet you and do a show & tell sometime maybe.

I'm a big fan of the Ashdown line.

To double on both BG and DB the general wisdom is to go with a pair of 10's instead of a single 15.

Bolo, Thanks for the information. I live in North Ridge off FAlls of Neuse Rd. in north raleigh I would enjoy getting together and discuss basses and equipment. I just bought my hollowbody from someone here on TB. It is a great bass, better than my ability to play it.
