Combo for backup, rehearsals, etc?

I'm really happy with my Fishman/Acoustic Image/Epifani gear for gigging.

But I'd like an affordable, easy to haul (and store) 1x10 combo for home, rehearsals, backup, etc. Might even find use for it with EB. Any experience with these:

--G-K Backline 110
--Line6 LowDown 110
--Others near $250?

Thanks!

A few weeks ago I bought a Line6 LowDown 110 and am fairly well pleased with it. I use it primarily with my J-bass in our church band but am experimenting with using it for my upright. I haven't found the tone I am listening for yet but to be honest, haven't really had much time to devote to it. I have a K&K bass max on the upright (which I have never really cared for).

The amp is lightweight and takes up very little space. For such a small amp, it is powerful and can really fill up a big room. The sound is a little muddy though. Part of that may be due to my own inexperience in dialing in a good tone. For my purposes (portability, price, and tone being very important) it works pretty well.

Hi,

I posted this last week.....A couple of threads back

For low volume gigs.........and I have used it in Big band rehearsals
I seem to get a decent sound out of a line 6 lowdown 110.
Not very expensive and works great for electric.....
And extremely portable.
The presets......can be a little bit of a pain......
You never know for sure where your EQ is when you switch between amp models.
you can find info at this link
