Condenser mic For Live sessions

Hi,
i want to know what do you think its the best condenser mic for live sessions,
my idea is to combinate it with a piezo mic.
and then conect both to a 2 chanel mixer (before that i will conect the piezo to a fishman platinum preamp), and then everything to a fender rumble 60w combo...

could it work?

thanks,

hi contrabass,

i think you´re not the only one who had that idea:

I actually do the same: I run a Planet Wing piezo pickup and a conderser mic into a D-TAR Solstice preamp/blender. I use a custom made conderser mic, but the AKG C419PP works very well too. The Solstice preamp has all sort of controls to eliminate feedback.
