I am in search of a new pickup. In my search I stumbled upon this strange design

Has anyone seen (heard) this one in action? How well does it do on arco? Any feedback?
It looks like it might affect the sound of the bass when unamplified.

Hi Noam, Francois pointed that thread to me. I talked to D Fontaine few years ago. At the time it boiled down to the fact that his pickup project was at the prototype level. I´ll try to get an update from him in september. The problem is to test drive and compare it to other pickups. Have a good summer.
