I tried a C-ducer tape pickup on a plywood about four or five years ago.
I kept it less than a week.
If you can't try before buy, I advise to forget about it!

how about the SD systems PU-4 peizo DB pickup i just brought one ( of course) and it sounds 1000% better than my fishman.
