I saw this on Ebay.

Definitely vintage, but looks interesting just the same.

Well, this was one of the first pickups for Double Bass. I used one for a little while, but other than it's intrinsic value (if there is any) it's relegated to the same status as the original Ampeg Pickup. The output is pretty low by today's standards and it's reproduction of the instrument is not as accurate.

Wile the chrome is impressive, the extra metal work is probably a sound killer.
Cool volume knob.

I've got one of those in my junk drawer. It's been there for almost 50 years, and it still works. I don't know what this guy is talking about with the original rubber pad. Every one that I've ever seen, came with a felt pad.
