I've used K&K pups on a couple of different basses. I think they're great for the price. They hold up well, which is more than I can say about some of the more upscale stuff.

probably both, on and off. i figured the only difference would be speed, but i dont know. anyone tell me the difference, pickup wise? if i had to pick one, id say more psychobilly. i am using a hartke 500 watt head with a hartke 410 and an eminence 112. thanks

In fact, so has anything you ever wanted to know about the genre. The majority of players here at Talkbass are jazz and orchestral players, and so you wont find the depth of knowledge pertaining to the rockabilly genre here, particularly in regard to a pickup that is specialist to that genre.
