if you guys are interested there is a new poweramp from Crown with programmable DSP, either on the display or over a Computer.
Im pretty shure that you can make any cab soud good with that.
my brother is sound ingeneer and he mentioned that.
his company uses only DSP amps for live shows but those are huge
8000 watts. the one Im talking about is 1400 RMS bridged @ 4 ohms
if you want you could even use one channel for athe woofer and the other for the tweeter because you can program a frequency crossover.
you can program and store the settings too.
with the DSP. that thing isnt really heavy either 17 pounds I think.
Only big it is =( usuall rack size with and 2 spaces.
You can fint the bad spots with the DSP parametric EQ and notch it out. I guess thats gone make the gain before feedback a lot bigger.
price is abot the same as a iAmp 500.
might be something for some of you guys.
