has anyone tried using the 2 channels to mix there pickup and mic together? It seems like it would sound great but I haven't met anyone yet who does it.

As I said on the other thread, yes, it sounds OK.

Oh, and you might want to take heed of warnings re. multiple postings (considered v. bad form, and to be avoided at all costs…)
