fishman bp100 or k&k bass max?

i have an englehardt es-1 that i need to amplify. i play everythink so i want a good balanced pickup. i can get both these for fair prices.. let me know what you guysa think, i gotta order it in a few days.. thanks guys

oh yeah and i have an swr workingmans 4004 with 4x10 cab that i use for my bass guitar now.

No question - get the Bass Max.

I used to have a BP100 and it sounded thin and unnatural. The BassMax sounds great. It also probably will sound fine with your SWR amp without needing an outboard preamp, if your amp input impedance is greater than about 300K Ohms. The Fishman needs a preamp input impedance of >1Meg, preferrably 10 Meg to sound decent.

I suggest neither. I'd get the Rev. Solo II. IMO, and on my basses, it is head and shoulders above the Bassmax.

yeah i cant afford the rev solo ii. i work at a music shop and can get a pretty decnt discount on the others... i think im gonna get the bassmax
