G K amplifers

I'm thinking about buying a G K 400 RB head. I'm a doubler and have reservations about digital amps like the Clarus for my Bass guitars. I think a good comprimise is the G K for the double bass and bass guitar. Any feedback will be appreaciated.
Forgive my spelling.

400rb

I had a 400rb 2x10 combo and did not like it.
I'm not sure what style you play on urb but for my taste it was too electric sounding, if you know what I'm trying to say. With a plywood bass , an underwood and gut strings, it still made it sound like a P-bass.

When I first started playing DB, I was using GK 400 RB for my BG,so I tried it with my DB. No matter what I tried, it sounded like hell. I've found that if I need to double, I'm really better off with two amps. However, I will say that my Clarus does a much better job for BG than the GK ever did for DB.
