Krivo pickup noise help?

Does anyone have any advice on quieting a Krivo pickup? I thought it was humbucking and I wouldn't be having the type of hum it's giving me. I've tried a few different grounding solutions, a thick solid copper grounding around the string ends seems best.

Thanks,
Daryl

Did you ask the maker/seller about this?
Here on TB, he's user 'jflojazz'.
His email is jflo822@hotmail.com.
He didn't came back on TB since a month, so you may wish to try email first.

This ad clearly states they are humbucking.

I PM'ed him but didn't hear back. I'll try emailing him.

Since it's supposed to be humbucking, I'm wondering if one of the coils might have gotten damaged in shipment, or if adding some shielding to the pickup might help.

Hi there, Let me know if you found the problem.
is it a new model or and old model? the New models have a resin body and the old are real wood. the new models are completely noise free while the old are low noise.
Let me know
Sorry I have been on tour a lot and havent kept up with my tb email

I ended up selling it to someone else here, and he reported back that he didn't have any noise problems. Maybe I was just having trouble getting a good ground.

coo thank you, yes depending on the wiring in your location and proximity to interference generators, results vary with the older models

Sounds like the issue is resolved, but just to add some info... I found with my DIY mag pup, that I sometimes got 60 Hz noise unless I grounded my steel strings to the output jack of the pup.
