Laptop and bass through the same amp?

I have a GK 200mb, and I'd like to get a laptop and my 7 string eub through it at the same time.
I tried a spiltter and the effects loop, but only one or the other will come through. I don't want to have to drag around a mixer, maybe a tiny one if they make such a thing.

i've done exactly what you are describing.
your easiest/cheapest solution is to buy a small, cheap mixer
and run a mono out to the effects loop return.
this will bypass your pre-amp.
if you still need the pre-amp for your bass tone, you can plug the bass into the input of the amp, take the effects out into a channel of the board, and send it back with the mix into the effects return.
you can get a cheap, small behringer mixer(the size of an effect pedal)
for around 35 bucks.
cheers
