LDS 1x8 (3way neo) + LDS 1x8 (2way)

I've been waiting for this other cab for a while (LDS 1x8 2way) to compliment the 3 way and use as a pair for most gigs with drummers. And as a pair they sound more then then sum of their parts. I've been really digging the 1x8(3w) as my main box despite the port chuffing and the briteness of the cab because it is like a Hi Fi GK rig, super portable light and easy to manage. But with a drummer getting to it, it needs more. The new 1x8 (2w) seems a lot better as a single, no port chuffing and a lot smoother fatter tone with much less high end and a lot more low mids and bass. But together they got a lot going for them. I had Don put a pole mount on top of one and under the other thinking I would run a short pole between them, but just stacking them with the amp on top is perfect. Running these two 8 ohm cabs off the Focus III yields ridiculous headroom, more then I'll ever need by a lot. I played on monday with a loud drummer and never pushed the Focus past 9 o clock (course the U5 runs into the Focus) but man these two together are a different beast. The 3way has the high end and the 2way the bottom and it sure seems like twice the sound coming outta the amp. It responds remarkably to the HP filter dialing out the bass as necessary.

Oh baby, oh baby!!! How much is Don asking for these 2-ways and how much does it weigh? Also, is it not a Neo?

Yea its not the neo driver/ The mid has an attenuation dial on it. I gigged last night with it again and it just kills. It feels just a pound or two more then the neo.The pair sounded great yesterday. this might be a bit bigger then a 2x8 but I dont have the space or money to have a lot of cabs.
The focus III seems to sound better driving these two cabs then only one.
I've been putting the brite 3 way on the bottom.
Even with the amp turned way down, somehow having 2 8's, 2 5's and a tweeter sounds so good.

What exactly is their config? 1x8 + 1x5 for the 2way. 1x8 +1x5 and a tweeter for the 3 way?

thanks, BG
